Our clients can quickly upload their project to their private directory on the secure FTP site in order to allow Genetek support to evaluate EarthWorks’ interaction with their datasets. Within minutes, Genetek support can understand your problem and solve it. Bug fixes are typically solved within 24 hours and frequently within hours of report. From virtually anywhere in the world, if you have Internet access and a telephone, we can provide complete remote support.

True Story: Recently, a consulting geophysicist sees a demonstration of EarthWorks for the first time on a Thursday. He's very impressed and we decide to install the system the next day in order to let him play with it for a while during his free time. Time constraints only allowed us to give him 1 hour of training on Friday morning. On Monday, he lands a major international interpretation job that must be interpreted within 2 weeks. It consists of 144 2D seismic lines and a 70 square mile 3D survey.

When I explained that our Markers facility could provide him with this functionality without using the felt markers, he explained that he uses seismic markers, but the felt pens help him hypothesize and explain quickly and without the permanency of seismic markers. True Story: One of our users wants to be able to see processing dates on his maps by his seismic lines, so he knows what vintage each one belongs. True Story: After loading a large prestack dataset, our client discovers that the processor sent him unscaled gathers. He needs to complete his prestack analysis now and doesn't have time to redirect his processor. True Story: The geophysical technician needs to split a very large project into 2 parts, based on geography. A day later, we deliver the Project Splitting tool that saves our friend hours of time. Our animated tutorials help guide her through the operations exactly as she would do it on her system.

True Story: A new user asked for a map scale bar on the screen so that when he makes his PowerPoint presentation, the scale is there. We have real-time inquiry tools to allow the user to measure distances and areas and we plot a map scale bar on all hardcopies, but we hadn't anticipated the need for a map scale bar during image captures.

A few days later we send him a new version of EarthWorks with an optional Embedded Map Scale. We built it and delivered before he started capturing his map images. Genetek Earth Research responds quickly for our clients.

True Story: While demonstrating EarthWorks on Thursday to some new clients, one of them explained that they'd like to see an easy way to flatten a seismic section. We had a method, but he explained he'd like to see something even faster - click on a horizon and it flattens, click again and it returns to a structural image.

True Story: On Friday, a Houston client needed contours imported to EarthWorks which originally came from another workstation. We did not have the specific import format for these contours. On Tuesday, we uploaded the required loader software and now they’ve got their externally-generated contours loaded.
